The SCBCC Points Trophies and Sam Memorial Trophy are on offer to all Members of the Club. Eligibility for each trophy begins at the commencement of Membership within each calendar year. Points gained in competitions before the date of paid-up Membership are not eligible to be counted. Full details of all the trophies are contained in our Rules & Regulations.
Dorothy Jarrett Trophy for Personality of the Year – for the person who has made an outstanding contribution to the breed. Nominations for this award should be sent to the Secretary (email: secretary_sc@scbcc.co.uk).
Appleby Award – these medals are on offer to those Beardies who do not qualify for any of the other trophies but deserve recognition, going above and beyond as great ambassadors for the breed. Perhaps they have been a long serving PAT or assistance dog, or a pet that has faced great adversity with a wagging tail? Nominations should be made to the Secretary (email: secretary_sc@scbcc.co.uk) and can be made throughout the year.
